With a global vision and multiple sources of inspiration, our design team recognized no one has ever perfected the art of bathing like the Japanese. Historically influenced by a breathtaking landscape embellished by rivers, lakes, and waterfalls, the Japanese culture is not only known for respecting all natural elements but also for incorporating some of them, especially water, into daily life.

Crafted in Italy under heavy Japanese influence, our freestanding True Ofuro features an ergonomic seat designed for a full-body immersion which allows users to enjoy a seated soaking experience with optimal comfort. The wide rim provides neck and head support while also serving as a place to sit while getting in and out of the bathtub.

Available with or without Aquatica´s advanced Tranquility water heating and circulation system, this legitimately unique freestanding tub can also be outfitted with LED lights for an authentically memorable bathing experience.

The customizable nature of our True Ofuro could not be complete without the availability of 15 RAL colors to choose from, four different materials and three different sizes. As such, True Ofuro is capable of becoming the perfect match for any bathroom, classic or modern, big or small. Options include Ofuro standard, our first iteration of the model; Ofuro Mini, suitable for small spaces; and Ofuro Duo, large enough for two people.

The later, True Ofuro Duo, is part of Aquatica´s early 2019 collection and represents the only two-person soaker on the market. This undeniably unique freestanding tub is fabricated using DurateX, Aquatica´s composite material, which provides the new True Ofuro Duo with a soft-to-the-touch velvety surface that is contrasted by a solid, one-piece construction; making it the perfect luxury freestanding tub for homes, suites, and boutique hotel guestrooms alike.
